The winners of 2017:

 

- Geocell fosters an equal opportunity and non-discrimination working environment. 60% of company's employees is women, 41% of managerial positions is taken by women. Three sections of Geocell's technical department are led by female technicians. The company takes affirmative actions to promote women's participation in the field of telecommunications, mostly dominated by men. It initiated a women's empowerment campaign, called "Geocell Scholarship - Women in Technologies. A special scholarship is intended for creative girls having STEM talent. Company's equal opportunity policy includes notions such as using gender neutral language, elimination and reporting mechanism for harassment, promoting paternity leave, distributing benefits and promoting employees based on merits. It has an adaptive working environment for persons with disabilities.

 

- The Black Sea University promotes gender equality and women's participation in various education programs. There is near gender parity in employment, whereas thirty academic positions are taken by women and four out of five faculties are headed by women. University employees are provided equal opportunities to participate in local and international study programs. University provides scholarships to vulnerable women and disadvantaged students. The employment policy and qualification requirements do not restrict age, sex and physical appearance of job seekers. Wage policy ensures equal payment for equal job.

 

- DIO is a company with a human resource policy oriented on constant motivating and professional development of staff. The company covers training costs and provided trainings to female staff from every departments in 2016. It systematically cooperates with the NGOs to target vulnerable women and provide them with professional training to allow for further employment.
