Irakli worked in the position of Chief Financial Officer of Millennium Challenge Account-Georgia overseeing all financial aspects, including Fiscal Agent functions since February 2014. Currently, he serves as a Chief Financial Officer for Millennium Foundation.
Previous to his work with MCA-Georgia, Irakli Chkhaidze has served as the CFO at Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation. He has also served as Fiscal Agent Manager for MCA-Armenia Compact and was the Chief Financial Officer for the Compact I of Millennium Challenge Georgia Fund managing implementation of 400 million USD. His previous experience also includes 9 years of work as Chief Accountant for USAID/Caucasus and USAID/Iraq. Irakli was awarded with numerous U.S. government awards. He has more than 18 years of experience working in financial management field.
Irakli Chkhaidze holds Master's degree in computer science from Tbilisi Technical University and Master's degree in accounting and financial management from Tbilisi School of Business. He possesses a good command of written and spoken English and Russian.
