The Millennium Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of the 2025 Millennium Innovations Award, a prestigious competition designed to foster a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and innovations among high school students in Georgia.

Since its inception in 2014, the competition has provided young innovators with a platform to develop and showcase their ideas in various STEM-related fields. Students aged 13 to 17 are invited to participate, forming teams to present projects in the following fields:

·       Space and Aviation

·       Cyber Technologies and Security

·       Environmental Protection, Energy, and Climate Change

·       Healthcare and Nutrition

·       Applied Technologies and Applications (Mobile Applications, FinTech, Banking Applications, Artificial Intelligence, etc.)

·       Robotics

A panel of independent jury comprised of experts in the STEM field and industry will evaluate the projects based on their innovation, feasibility, and potential impact. The Millennium Innovations Award aims to inspire and support the next generation of scientists, engineers, and technology leaders, encouraging them to pursue higher education and careers in STEM fields.

Following a rigorous selection process, the competition will identify the top three teams with outstanding projects in innovation and STEM.

  • First-place winners will have the opportunity to participate in the NASA Space Center University in the United States.
  • Second- and third-place teams will engage in international STEM programs, broadening their knowledge and experience in cutting-edge scientific and technological developments.
  • Finalist teams will also receive various awards in recognition of their achievements.

The Millennium Innovations Award is implemented by the Millennium Foundation with the financial support of the U.S. Embassy in Georgia. The official partners of the competition include the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency and Liberty Bank.

Since its launch, the competition has engaged over 3,500 students, providing them with unique opportunities to develop their skills, collaborate with industry professionals, and gain international exposure.
