2026 Millennium Innovation Award Announced

The Millennium Foundation announces the Millennium Innovation Award for 2026.

The goal of the Millennium Innovation Award is to identify teams of school students who present innovative projects in the fields of sciences, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

Projects can be submitted in the following categories: Space and Aviation, Cyber Technologies and Security, Environmental Protection, Energy and Climate Change, Healthcare and Nutrition, Applied Technologies and Applications (Mobile Applications, Financial Technologies, Banking Applications, Artificial Intelligence, etc.), Robotics.

• Students of public and private schools of Georgia born between May 1, 2009 and May 1, 2013 can participate in the 2026 Award.
• It is possible to participate in the Award as a team. The minimum number of members in the team is two, and the maximum is four. Team members can be either from one public or private school, or from different schools.
• The project submitted to the Award must not be submitted to another competition.   

The projects of the contestants will be evaluated by an independent jury. The first-place team will travel to NASA, USA, in the summer of 2027 and participate in summer school. The second and third place teams will also participate in international STEM camps or be awarded various prizes.

The Award is implemented by the Millennium Foundation, in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Georgia and the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia. The official partners of the Award are the Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency and Liberty Bank. Various prizes will be awarded to the finalists of the Award by partner organizations and companies.

The deadline for applications for the 2026 Award is: June 1, 2026
