The Millennium Foundation, with the support of the Gudavadze-Patarkatsishvili Foundation and the Tamaz Bekaia Educational Foundation, is launching a new project  "Systems for Research and Engagement of Higher and Vocational Education Graduates in Georgia".

The aim of the project is to create and develop sustainable systems for graduate research and cooperation with alumni (graduates)  in higher and vocational education institutions of Georgia.

The new project will help participating educational institutions implement modern, evidence-based graduate management systems and strengthen the link between education and the labor market.

Within the framework of the project, the following will be developed:

  • Unified methodology of graduate research and standardized questionnaires;
  • Data collection and analysis tools;
  • An analytical system for graduate outcomes;
  • Alumni databases and  models of cooperation with alumni (alumni);
  • Institutional guidelines and practical recommendations.

Workshops and seminars will be held for representatives of the universities and colleges participating in the project. They will provide practical assistance in the process of creating databases, surveying graduates, analyzing the information obtained and applying the results to institutional decisions.

Ten beneficiary institutions will conduct   pilot graduate surveys, based on which institutional reports will be prepared and key trends in graduate employment, professional development,  satisfaction with education and compliance with the requirements of the labor market will be revealed.

The new initiative will help improve the employment opportunities of graduates,  develop education policy based on data and real results, and strengthen the link between education and the economy in Georgia.
