With the support of the Millennium Foundation, new cooperation between Israeli and Georgian universities and industry is launched.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Business and Technology University (Georgia), Bar-Ilan University (Israel), the Millennium Foundnation, the Business Association of Georgia and the Georgian ICT (Information Technology) Association, which envisages launch of industrial doctoral program for the first time in Georgia for students.
Bar-Ilan University is one of the leading research and educational institutions in Israel, which is distinguished by combining science, technology and humanities. The university has strong research infrastructure and international recognition in areas such as neuroscience, computer science, engineering, biotechnology and social sciences. Bar-Ilan University regularly occupies advanced positions in international rankings, including QS and Times Higher Education, and actively cooperates with leading universities and research centers in various countries around the world.
The uniqueness of the new joint doctoral program is that the student will be awarded the academic degree of both the Business and Technology University and the University of Bar-Ilan . The program is fully funded and free for the student. Students participating in the program will be given the opportunity to engage in scientific research activities under the guidance of Israel's leading scientists and in close cooperation with industry partners, which includes a deep analysis of the practical and strategic challenges in the modern business environment.
