On February 12, the Millennium Foundation organized the National Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Award Ceremony. During the event, the winners of the 2025 National TVET Award were announced in four main competition categories:

Mariam Mikadze, Ltd. Public College “Fanaskerteli,” Nursing Program
▪ Vocational Education Student of the Year
Shorena Shonia, LEPL Gldani Vocational Training Center, Garment Production Program
▪ Vocational Education Business Partner of the Year
Ltd. “Transford” – Pace Group
▪ Vocational Education Program of the Year
LEPL College “Modusi,” Level V Early Childhood Education – Educator Program
In the special award categories, the 2025 winners are:
Prize of the Parliament of Georgia
Promotion of Inclusive Vocational Education
Winner: College “Akhali Talga”
Special Prize of the Parliament of Georgia
Awarded to Saba Puturidze, student of the “Hotel Services” Program at College Phasis
Vocational Skills Agency Prize
Vocational Education Preparation/Retraining Program
Winner: Ltd. “Gorgia”
Program: “Installation of Gypsum Board Structures”
The Gudavadze–Patarkatsishvili Foundation presented a special award for contribution to vocational education to Otar Khajishvili, teacher of the Electrical Program at LEPL College “Black Sea.”
The National Vocational Education Award has been held annually since 2017. Its goal is to support, promote, and advance vocational education as a key component of strengthening the country’s economy. The General Sponsor of the award is the Gudavadze–Patarkatsishvili Foundation.
The competition is supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, the Parliament of Georgia, the Vocational Skills Agency, the Embassy of Israel in Georgia, and the Business Association of Georgia.
