The National TVET Award

The National TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) Award is organized in Georgia since 2017.

The Award was launched as part of the 140 million USD international agreement signed between the U.S. and Georgian government in 2013 - the Millennium Challenge Corporation Georgia Compact II (MCC Georgia Compact II). The award recognizes that skills development and human capital are important cornerstones of a country’s economic growth. The National TVET award aims to promote vocational education, skills and workforce development and showcases the best practices in the field.

The competition is supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.

The winners are selected by an independent jury in four main competition categories. Special prizes are awarded by the Parliament of Georgia, Vocational Skills Agency of Georgia, Embassy of Israeli n Georgia, and Business Association of Georgia.

A private foundation, Gudavadze-Patarkatshisvili Foundation has been the official sponsor of the Award since its establishment in 2017. The Foundation implements various projects in Georgia supporting education sector. For more information please visit: www.gpf.ge

The 2025 TVET award is issued in the following categories:

o   TVET Program of the Year

o   TVET Teacher of the Year

o   TVET Student of the Year

o   TVET Business Partner of the Year.

o   The Special Prize by the Parliament of Georgia for Inclusive Vocational Education

o   The Special Prize by the Skills Agency Georgia

o   The Special Prize by the Embassy of Israel in Georgia

o   The special prize by Business Association of Georgia
