Millennium Innovations Award (MIA) is a nationwide competition among 13-17 years old Georgian school children that promotes STEM education and innovations among the Georgian youth.

The participant teams submit their innovative projects in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) disciplines in the following sub-categories: Space and Aviation, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Technologies and Applications, Environment, Healthcare and Nutrition. The submitted projects is evaluated by the independent evaluation panel.

MIA fosters innovative ideas and increases youth's motivation and interest in STEM disciplines. MIA encourages youth to think innovatively and provides unique opportunity to match project winners with successful scientists and business sector to promote partnership and knowledge sharing. 

After the project evaluation stages, three best teams are selected who have presented the innovative projects in STEM disciplines. The first winning team takes part in the summer camp of the Space Center University at NASA, USA. The second and third prize winners also participate in the international STEM programs. Other finalist teams are awarded with various prizes.

Millennium Innovations Award has been organized since 2014 with the financial support of the U.S. Embassy in Georgia and in collaboration with various sponsors. The program is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) and Liberty Bank are the official partners of the competition. 

Over 3,000 students have participated in the competition since the program was launched.
